Most of what I've been working on has been made with JavaScript. Both the component driven frontends and the APIs behind them. I'm more comfortable on the frontend, but I am actively looking to improve myself across the stack.

I try not to overthink my code so that it is simple and easy to follow, not just for me but for my colleagues and whoever reads it next. I care about accessibility, sustainability browser consistency and not overcomplicating things.
Before finishing my degree I did an internship as a Datacenter Operations Engineer at a ByteDance datacenter. It was a different side of the industry from web development, physical infrastructure, operations, keeping things running at scale, breakfix and datacenter operations. I came away with a letter of recommendation and a much better understanding of what sits underneath the software I build.
